The Smugglaz... Exporting Jane and Finch Hip-Hop
With the recent explosion of T.O.s' hip-hop rep and the new faces that pop up on the scene almost hourly, there is something to be said for the veteran MC's that have put in work for years and helped Toronto gain the notoriety we are starting to enjoy. There may be no 416 rap group more notorious than The Smugglaz, Jane and Finch's original street rappers. Between the prison stints, banned music videos, shooting injuries and not-so-positive CBC News features, cousins Benny Blacc and Stick Up Kid have more street cred than they know what to do with.
